In the Dark - Book Review

unspeakable delights

It is the man who stands in reverence before flowers, and little children, and his own loved ones, and his leaders, and his God, to whom are revealed the secret essences which turn life into a garden of unspeakable delights. - J.H. Jowett

Out on a bike ride this morning with my friend, Chris J., and we couldn't just pass by this "unspeakable delight."  I had to stop and take a picture.  The quote (above) by Jowett, was part of a devotional reading based on 1 Peter 2:11-17.  I came away from this reading challenged to live a life of submission and respect to all the good people and things that God has placed in my life.
