A Patch of Old Snow
by Robert Frost
There's a patch of old snow in a corner
That I should have guessed
Was a blow-away paper the rain
Had brought to rest.
It is speckled with grime as if
Small print overspread it,
The news of a day I've forgotten--
If I ever read it.

The reading of poetry serves to slow me down a bit. I reflected on this poem by Robert Frost this evening and it reminded me that there are some things that matter in life and there are some things that don’t.....
Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. --Psalm 90:12
